A spectacular vintage Italian majolica seafood platter — exuberant, dimensional and unapologetically Mediterranean.
Hand-painted in Italy, the large ceramic platter is covered in sculptural seafood motifs including lobster, fish, clams and shellfish, glazed in vivid cobalt blue, terracotta, sea-green and creamy white.
At approximately 18 inches across, it has real presence. Use it as an oversized serving platter for a summer table, display it upright on a console or hutch, or hang it as a piece of dimensional wall art.
This is exactly the kind of vintage Italian tableware we love: useful, beautifully made and just eccentric enough to make the whole room more interesting.
Marked “HANDMADE IN ITALY” on the reverse.
