French flowers for the wall — because sometimes art should be porcelain.
This beautiful group of antique Limoges porcelain cabinet plates was made in France by G.D. & Cie around the late 19th to early 20th century.
Each plate features a different richly colored border surrounding delicate hand-painted floral sprays, finished with elegant gilt detailing. The variation from plate to plate makes the group especially beautiful displayed together: coordinated, but not overly matched.
Originally conceived as decorative cabinet plates, these examples have been mounted for wall hanging, making them perfect for creating a collected porcelain wall in a dining room, kitchen, entry, bedroom, or layered gallery arrangement.
We love the contrast between the traditional French porcelain and the slightly unexpected use of plates as wall art. Romantic, decorative, and very French without feeling precious.

Please review all photographs closely, as they form part of the condition description.
DĒSSO NOTE
We source vintage and antique pieces for their craftsmanship, history, and beautifully imperfect character. Signs of age are part of what makes each piece unique.
