Pineapple, but make it Portuguese majolica.
This sculptural serving dish by Bordallo Pinheiro is molded in the shape of a pineapple and covered edge-to-edge in the wonderfully excessive texture the Portuguese maker does so well.
The entire surface is built from tiny raised pineapple scales, finished in a rich glossy green glaze with darker pooling in the recesses that makes every detail pop.
A dimensional leafy crown finishes one end, while the opposite end has a small molded stem — so even empty, it reads more like a little ceramic sculpture than ordinary serveware.
At 11.5 inches long, it is large enough for olives, cheeses, fruit, appetizers or sweets, but honestly just as good propped upright on an open shelf.
Made in Portugal by Bordallo Pinheiro, the historic Caldas da Rainha pottery known for its exuberant naturalistic ceramics.
And because sometimes you only need one pineapple:
These are sold individually. Two matching trays are currently available.

DĒSSO NOTE
The Portuguese really understand that a serving dish does not have to behave.
Use it for olives and cheese, put it on a bar with citrus, or prop it upright on a shelf and let the giant green pineapple be the art.
One is fabulous. Two together are even more ridiculous — which I obviously support.
