Vintage Country French Louis XV Style Rush Seat Dining Chairs — Set of 5

Five chairs, plenty of French attitude.

This vintage set of five Country French dining chairs takes its cues from Louis XV design, with softly shaped frames, curved lines and traditional woven rush seats that keep the look relaxed rather than formal.

The combination of warm wood and natural rush gives them exactly the kind of texture that works beautifully in collected interiors — especially when paired with a simple farmhouse table, old oak, plaster walls or something much more modern.

Their charm is in the contrast: a decorative French silhouette, but with a very practical, rustic seat.

Use them as a complete dining set, split them around a breakfast table, or mix a few into a larger collected set of mismatched chairs.

French country without the costume.

DĒSSO NOTE

These are exactly the kind of chairs I like because they make a room feel collected immediately.

The Louis XV lines keep them elegant.

The rush seats stop them from becoming precious.

Around an old wood table, in a breakfast room, or mixed with completely different chairs — they work.

And yes, five is an odd number.

I actually like that.
