A charming French Louis XVI-style marble-top nightstand or side cabinet with beautifully petite proportions.
The warm wood case is topped with a pale marble slab and arranged with a small upper drawer, open shelf and lower enclosed cabinet — giving you considerably more practical storage than its narrow footprint suggests.
Its restrained Louis XVI styling makes it especially easy to mix into a modern room. Rather than feeling overtly formal, the slender proportions and natural materials give it the kind of quiet European character that works beautifully beside a contemporary bed, sofa or reading chair.
At just under 18 inches wide, it is also a particularly good option for smaller bedrooms where a full-size nightstand would feel too heavy.

DĒSSO NOTE
Tiny footprint, actual storage, marble top. We approve.
We’d put this beside a very low modern bed with one sculptural lamp and a stack of books — or use it next to a sofa where the marble immediately makes the whole corner feel a little more French.
And at only 17.75" wide, this is one of those rare antique bedside pieces that actually works in a small room.
