Tiny pitcher. Very good attitude.
This vintage amber crackle-glass cruet has that beautiful warm golden-brown color that immediately catches the light, with an intentionally fractured crackle texture running throughout the body.
The petite pitcher form is finished with a clear applied glass handle, a flared tulip-style mouth, and its original glass stopper — a lovely contrast against the rich amber body. The source listing describes it as approximately 5.5 inches tall and 2.75 inches wide including the handle.
Originally made as a cruet, it is perfectly sized for olive oil, balsamic vinegar, syrup, or a little sauce at the table.
But I also love it completely outside the kitchen: on a bar cart, grouped with other colored glass, or holding one tiny flower because apparently even a single stem deserves a fabulous vase.
The exact maker is unknown / unmarked, so I would not attribute it to Blenko, Rainbow, or another glass house without documentation. Similar amber crackle-glass forms were produced by several makers during the mid-to-late 20th century.

DĒSSO NOTE
I have a weakness for tiny objects that make extremely ordinary things feel fancy.
Balsamic vinegar did not technically need its own amber crackle-glass pitcher.
But here we are.
And I fully support it.
