I fell for the beautiful bamboo construction of this little bench, but knew immediately that the original upholstery had to go.

Enter a gorgeous terracotta geometric fabric, a little imagination, and suddenly this very traditional piece has an entirely new personality.

I love the contrast between the organic bamboo and the bold, almost 1970s-inspired pattern. It's warm, unexpected, and just the right amount of playful.

I'd style it at the foot of a bed with linen bedding, in a sunny entryway, or alongside a sculptural vintage floor lamp.
