A little Umbrian green for the table.
This vintage De Silva Terre d’Umbria pitcher was made in Italy in glazed terracotta and finished in a deep, glossy green that feels instantly Mediterranean.
The form is simple and rustic: rounded body, generous handle and an easy pouring lip, with the slightly irregular surface and glaze variation that gives Italian pottery so much of its charm.
Use it as an actual pitcher, fill it with a loose bunch of flowers, or let it live on an open kitchen shelf with your other collected ceramics.
De Silva has produced terracotta and ceramic wares in Gualdo Tadino, Umbria since the 1970s, drawing on the region’s long pottery tradition.

DĒSSO NOTE
Green ceramics are dangerous.
You buy one because it looks good next to the olive oil, and suddenly you have an entire Italian pottery situation happening.
This one is exactly the right kind of useful: water pitcher, flower vase, utensil holder, or simply something beautiful sitting on a shelf.
Add lemons nearby and pretend you own a house in Umbria.
