Vintage English Mahogany Nesting Tables — Set of Three

A wonderfully useful set of three vintage English mahogany nesting tables, designed in graduated sizes so all three tuck neatly together when not in use.

Rich mahogany gives them that quintessentially English warmth, while the narrow proportions make them incredibly easy to work into a modern room. Pull them apart when you need an extra drinks table, side table or perch for a lamp, then slide them back together when you want the floor space.

We especially love nesting tables beside a sofa because they give you three functional surfaces without visually weighing down the room.

Two sets are available — Set A and Set B — and each set is sold separately.

CONDITION

Good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear.

The auction house notes possible marks to the finish, scratches, scuffs and other evidence of previous use. These are vintage pieces and natural variation between Set A and Set B should be expected.

DĒSSO NOTE

One table is useful. Three tables hiding inside one table is better.

These are the kind of pieces that quietly become indispensable — drinks beside the sofa, a lamp next to a chair, an extra table when friends come over — and then disappear neatly back into one little footprint.

Set B is slightly wider; Set A is slightly taller and narrower, so I’d simply choose based on the proportions of your space.
