Vintage French Majolica Pineapple & Green Pepper Salt + Pepper Shakers — Pair

Playful French majolica-style pair with strong decorative appeal, sculptural form, and a great color combination. Similar vintage fruit and vegetable ceramic shakers tend to sit below higher-value serving pieces, but this pair has enough charm and visual presence to justify a curated retail price in the upper-$60s.

DESCRIPTION
A wonderfully playful pair of vintage French majolica salt and pepper shakers featuring a sculptural pineapple and deep green pepper form.

Each piece is molded with dimensional detailing and finished in glossy saturated glaze, giving them the whimsical, naturalistic quality associated with French majolica and barbotine ceramics.

Small in scale but full of personality, they work beautifully as functional tableware or simply as decorative objects in a kitchen, bar area, breakfast nook, or collected shelf.

Sold as a pair.

DĒSSO NOTE
Exactly the kind of tiny object that makes a collected home feel personal. We love these mixed into a kitchen shelf, styled beside vintage ceramics, or simply left on the table because they are far too cute to hide away.
