La Louelle - Vintage Ivory Ceramic Shell Table Lamp with Custom Shade

Meet Louelle. 

A refined vintage table lamp featuring a sculptural shell-form ceramic base in a softly luminous ivory glaze. The gathered, draped form gives the base a sense of movement, while its monochromatic finish keeps the overall composition quiet and elegant.

DĒSSO CŪRATED restored the lamp with new wiring, a twisted cream electrical cord, antique-brass hardware and a decorative finial. A custom white drum shade embossed with Celtic-inspired lattice and floral knotwork completes the piece, adding subtle texture without competing with the sculptural ceramic base.

An elegant bedside, console or reading-table lamp with a coastal sensibility that feels collected rather than themed.

The ceramic base is attributed to the 1960s–1970s. Its precise maker and country of manufacture remain unidentified.
