A joyful vintage majolica bowl featuring a sculptural toucan emerging from a lush surround of overlapping tropical leaves. Hand-painted in vivid yellow, deep black and layered greens, the piece captures the exuberant naturalism associated with Portuguese decorative ceramics of the late 20th century.
Its dimensional leaf-form bowl can hold fruit, flowers or a small plant, although the piece is equally compelling displayed on its own as a tropical ceramic sculpture.
