This vintage Olfaire piece was made in Portugal and shaped like a richly textured cabbage leaf, finished in a glossy green majolica-style glaze.

The raised veining and softly irregular edges give it that sculptural Portuguese pottery look that works just as well on an open shelf as it does next to the stove.
